A 14-year-old boy has been charged with setting off “pop bottle bombs” outside of his Hocker Dr. apartment complex.
Clark County Sheriff deputies found two of the bombs on Dalton Dr. near the apartments.  The boy has admitted to setting off both of them.
According to Sheriff Report the boy lives with his father, a truck driver, and is supposed to be staying with his uncle in New Carlisle while his father is on the road.
Deputies were originally called by another resident of the complex, who reported that the boy had friends over while his father was out of town and had set off the bombs.  The resident also stated that the boy has caused problems in the past.
The boy was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated arson and two counts of illegal possession of dangerous ordinances and was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.  A second juvenile who was not involved in setting off the bombs was released to his mother.
