Venison Cabbage Rolls. Deer Meat Loaf. Deer Steaks. Raccoon, Squirrel and Groundhog. “I started coming here about six years ago,” said Miles Davis, organizer of the dinner. “I never went to church before but my wife made me join.” Then Davis met Melvin VanSickle, former pastor of the church. VanSickle happened to mention that several Baptist churches “down south” have wild game dinners, and he thought Davis should organize one at Medway.
"We don't charge admission," said Davis. "And we don't ask for donations, but we will take them."
