The New Carlisle Post Office was closed for about an hour Monday morning after the Clark County Sheriff's department received a bomb threat.
At 9:20 Monday morning, the Sheriff's office receivedan untraceable call from a young female caller stating that there was a bomb on the premeses. "I'd say she was younger than high school age, judging from the voice," said Police Administrator Sgt. Ralph Underwood.
Deputies assisted Postal investigators in searching the building - inside and out including cars in the parking lot. "We didn't find anything out of the ordinary," said Underwood. The Post Office was opened at 10:00 AM.
"We're treating it as a prank call," said Underwood. There are no suspects.
If you have any information on who the caller might be, call the Clark County Sheriff's Office at 328-2560
