It’s amazing how things can change in just a years’ time. Last season, Tipp City’s volleyball team was playing in the regional finals, while Tecumseh had finished their season a couple of weeks before with a handful of victories. |

The Tecumseh Lady Arrow JV Team celebrated their first win of the season in convincing fashion as they defeated the Benjamin Logan Lady Raider JV Team by a final score of 7-0. The game was played for only 36 minutes as the Lady Raiders were short on personnel as some players were to participate in the varsity contest as well. Both teams played 7 v 7 in order to also ensure adequate substitutions. |

It was a great way to open the season for the Bethel girls soccer team, as the Lady Bees battled the once-tested Milton Union Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Bees used a swarming attack, and goals from three different senior captains, as they opened the season on a winning note, cruising past Milton 3-0 last Thursday evening. |

“They’re back.” This is an oft-quoted line from a popular science fiction movie. But since 2007, it’s also becoming an oft-heard local way of saying the “Help CROP Stop Hunger” signs are going back up in the windows of New Carlisle areas stores and other businesses. (More on that below).

By Tom Minutolo The Tecumseh Lady Arrow Soccer Team finished in a flurry and came away with a 4-4 Tie in their third scrimmage game of the pre-season on Tuesday against the Newton High School Lady Indians. The game was moved to a small park a couple of miles from the high school due to some construction activity and the Arrows battled against the smaller width o f the field all evening as they struggled with possession. |

The Tecumseh Lady Arrow Soccer Team got back to their winning ways on Thursday at Spitzer Stadium as they enjoyed a rain shortened 7-0 victory over the Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders. It was a nice team win for the Arrows as they received contributions from many players.

The wisdom of children never ceases to amaze me. Recently, a six-year old boy was asked, “If you could have anything, what would that be?”
His answer: “Not to have a million toys in my room.” I do believe adults could learn something from this little guy.

Even though Tecumseh is focusing on the start of the 2009 high school football season, which starts Friday night at Fairborn, it is hard to forget what happened in New Carlisle last season. |
