Marion A. "Sam" Thomas, 85, of New Carlisle, Ohio went to meet his Lord & Savior on Monday, November 20, 2017.  He was born August 12, 1932 in Clinton County, Ohio the son of the late Wayne & Blanche (Thompson) Thomas. 

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired truck driver.  He was a member of the New Life Church, where he was known as an encourager to all. 

He is survived by two daughters, Sandra A. & David Banks, Julie & Samuel Berger; stepchildren, Mary Ellen, Charlotte, Peggy, David & his beloved son, John; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Emogene “Jean” Thomas; and a brother, James Thomas.  

Visitation and truckers breakfast will be 10-11 AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the  New Life Church, 5435 W. National Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45504 with funeral services at 11 AM in the church with Rev.
