The Clark County Sheriff's Office is investigating an altercation that resulted in two men being stabbed in Park Layne last night.

Randy Sinclair II, 34, and Clifton Ferguson, 31, were both taken to area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.

The exact location of the stabbing is still under investigation, but two crime scenes were being investigated last night; a house on Gerlaugh Rd. and a maroon SUV around the corner on Stratmore. The vehicle, driven by a female, came from an address on Gerlaugh and rested on Stratmore after the tires were slashed, according to Major Chris Clark with the Clark County Sheriff's Department.

A witness on scene recognized one of the victims and referred to him as a known drug user.

“There is evidence of a fight, and it appears to be a dispute over money” said Major Clark. “We cannot say at this time if drugs were involved in this crime, but we did remove drug paraphernalia from the vehicle.”  Items were removed from the Gerlaugh Rd. residence as well.

A third subject is being sought by Deputies, but his involvement is unknown.

Major Clark said that none of the parties are cooperating in the investigation.

If anyone has more information regarding the incident, they are encouraged to notify the Clark County Sheriff's Department at 521-2050.
