Northwestern Elementary will hold registration and readiness assessment for students entering kindergarten in the 2016-2017 school year on May 3rd and May 4th.

Parents of children eligible for kindergarten should call the school at

964-3240 beginning April 4th to arrange an appointment. State Law requires that all students must attend kindergarten before entering first grade. Parents need to present the child’s Birth Certificate (Health Dept. copy), Immunization Records, Custody/Adoption/Guardianship Papers, (if applicable), and Proof of Residency at time of registration.

Please be reminded that kindergarten students must be 5 years of age before September 30th. Should you have any questions, they can be asked when you call or at assessment. Thank you.
