A pair of wins last week has propelled the Northwestern softball team into the regionals tournament this week, as they battle Hamilton Badin Thursday at 5 p.m. at Wright State.

The Warriors defeated Northeastern 4-0 in the sectional finals, then came back on Friday to win the district championship with a 7-0 win over Dixie.

Jenna Robbins earned the wins, giving her 18 on the season. She also added a homerun against Dixie, while McKayla Howard added three hits, and Bry White had a pair of RBIs.

The winner of Thursday’s game returns to Wright State on Saturday at noon for a chance to advance to the state final four.
