The Church of the Brethren will host the Kettering Banjo Society on Saturday, May 7th at 7:00pm. We are excited to present this wonderful group to our community. The Kettering Banjo Society have performed since the early 70’s and has grown to be one of the best Banjo bands east of the Mississippi.

The band will illustrate their talents using the banjos, keyboards, tuba and other brass, bass harmonica, accordions and mandolins. Along with all these variations of instruments and vocalists, will give the audience a wide variety of musical styles from the 19th and 20th centuries. You and your family will be entertained with good old ragtime, showboat era, Americana and patriotic selections. If you love the sounds of the 50’s this is the show you will want to attend. The band will be creating happy and lively toe-tapping mood music. This concert will be enjoyed by all ages. Bring you family, friends and neighbors for a night of music. You won’t be disappointed!

The performance will begin at 7:00pm at the Church of the Brethren in New Carlisle, 219 N. Main Street. This concert is free and open to the public, however during intermission a “free will offering “will be accepted as a donation to the performers. Refreshments will be served during intermission for a nominal cost. Please mark your calendar for Saturday, May 7th to enjoy an evening of wonderful music by a very talented band.
