On March 11, 2016, New Carlisle Public Library starts a new program for DVD rental. The DVD Quick Pick program allows patrons to check out newly released DVD for two DVDs for two nights. The program begins on March 11, 2016 and features DVDs that have been released in January, February, and March. Patrons can check out two of the DVDs for two nights only. The DVDs are available on a first come first serve basis. They cannot be reserved in advance nor can they be renewed.

Some of the feature films include Bridge of Spies, Black Mask, Good Dinosaur, Minions and Martians.

According to Library Director Bryan Howard, “The program gives our patrons’ access to DVDs earlier.”
