Junior Achievement of Mad River Region to host a Movie/TV themed bowl-a-thon at Victory Lanes on Saturday March 5

-- It's time to get out your bowling ball and join Junior Achievement (JA) of Mad River Region at Victory Lanes, 1906 Commerce Rd., Springfield on March 5, to have a great time while raising funds to support JA. This year’s bowl-a-thon will feature a movie/TV theme. Prizes will be awarded for most spirited team, most creative costume, and your trivia knowledge in addition to prizes based on pledges collected. Teams must register by Thursday February 25.

JA programs teach young people about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy. For example, third grade students learn how to plan a city as part of Junior Achievement’s Our City™ program, and high school students learn that a positive financial future requires management strategies, including career exploration, budgeting, savings, wise use of credit, savvy shopping, consumer protection, and investment strategies in JA Personal Finance.

Even if you don’t score a turkey, you will be making a strike for local students’ education. So call Junior Achievement of Mad River Region 937-323-4725 ext 12 or email Crystal, This email address is being protected from spambots.
