Cedarville Invitational- Greenon participated in the area invitational on Saturday.

The Knights’ girls’ team finished fourth with a total of 111 points. Leading the way for the Knights was Rachel Dewey, who finished 58th overall, with a 22:37.40. Olivia Blevins was 80th overall with a finishing time of 23:05.60, Rhiannon Morlock was 113th (23:39.83) and Kate Conley 120th (23:47.25).

For the Greenon boys’, they finished 12th overall out of 20 teams.

Placing 12th overall in the boys race was the Knight’s Mat Pettit with a solid time of 17:13.93 while Cameron Haught was 23rd (17:46.20), Joel Pensworth 28th (17:55.76) while TJ Wisecup was 166th (20:16.03).

Alliance Invitational- Tippecanoe girls’ cross country team finished eighth overall in the Alliance Invitational on Saturday, while Northwestern placed 13th overall in the Division Two division. For Tippecanoe, Bekah Shininger placed 41st overall with a time of 22:43, while finishing 46th was Kelly Rhoades (23:00), Annie Martino 47th (23:02), Kayla Bruns 49th (23:07), and Autumn Weldon 58th (23:28).

Northwestern was led by Brooke Smith who placed 24th overall (21:59), followed by Emily Funderburg 75th (24:24), Kaylee Parrett 78th (24:35), Maddie Johnson 89th (24:45) and Brittany Fields 121st (26:56).

Tippecanoe also had a team in the Division One race, and they won the title with 37 points, nearly 70 ahead of the second place team. Kalli Titley finished fifth overall (19:49(, Abbi Halsey sixth (19:52), Katie Taylor seventh (19:57), Laura Fink ninth (19:59) and Stephanie Fink tenth (20:05).

In the boys Division Two race, Northwestern was fourth, with Justin Prack finishing third (16:51), followed by Ryan Cleland 11th (17:24), Kyle Jamison 22nd (17:48), Liam Randall 26th (18:03) and Keith Kaiser 64th (18:55).

Also in the Division Two race was one of the Tippecanoe teams, as Ethan Sinning was 32nd (18:11), Ethan Heitkamp 41st (18:21), Andrew Doviak 49th (18:33), Colin Durcan 50th (18:35) and Matthew Poynter 54th (18:40).

In the Division One race, the Red Devils finished second overall to Dublin Coffman as Mitchell Poynter placed second overall with a time of 15:57, while two more runners placed in the top ten. Tim Andrews was eighth (16:42) and Spencer Ranft ninth (16:48), with Thomas Chaney 12th (16:52), Jacob Stillwagon 17th (17:03), Michael Stearns 20th (17:08) and Keenan Fraylick 21st (17:09).

Eaton Invitational- Isaac Flora finished 35th overall in the event at Eaton, as the Troy Christian runner finished with a 35th place time of 18:41.56, followed by teammate Nick Pratt who was 38th (18:44.78) and Zach Davidson 49th (19:32.28).

Bethel also was led by Chase Heck with a 66th place finish (20:36.94), with Conner Whalen 72nd (21:07.97), Benton Wright 77th (21:40.70) and Max Schell 78th (21:45.39).

Bethel’s girls’ were led by Kaitlyn Balkcom with a 59th place finish (24:37.18), Kaylee Baugh 68th (25:38.57) and Eiliana Wright 81st (27:30.16).

Troy Christian’s lone girls runner was Hyla Pitsenbarger with a time of 32:52.85.
