It hasn’t happened at Tecumseh since 1995, but the Arrows volleyball team brought home a league tltle after sweeping a pair of matches last week. The Arrows are now 19-3 overall, and head into the sectional tournament this week with momentum.

The Arrows defeated Shawnee 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-17 on Thursday. Lindsey Nartker led the way with 31 kills and 21 digs, while Baylee Pursifull added eight kills and five blocks.

Kirsten Nartker also had seven kills and 10 digs for the Arrows, while Caroline Smith dished out 48 assists and nine digs.

Also last week, Tecumseh defeated Bellefontaine 25-12, 25-13, 25-9 in easy fashion.

Lindsey Nartker had 19 kills, 14 digs and five aces, while Pursifull had six kills, two aces and four blocks.

Laura Hillard contributed two kills, while Caroline Smith had 24 assists and four kills. Also for Tecumseh, Brooke Barger had a kill and block in the win.
